Play.

This is a pic I took of Tarrah, a few weeks ago. I’m so exicted because I got my prize winnings in the mail finally from the Scrapbook.com contest. Of course I ordered a ton of Basic Grey. They’ve got several new lines out and I ordered three of them. I used a collection called Recess for this one. All of it’s gorgeous paper. I {heart} Basic Grey!

My Shopping Cart!

So, my “store” is up and running.  I’m so excited!  I figured out how to add a shopping cart to my blog.  Now people can actually buy my kits from my blog.  I almost went with Google checkout, but then I realized they had to sign up for that and that’s not cool.  So I went with PayPal.  Everybody loves PayPal.  I’m just nervous to see if it will work.  I’ve never done this before.  We’ll see!

Yesterday, I went with Bob to his sister Denise’s house to visit with Tarrah, and he ended up getting suckered into paintballing with the guys up there.  Here’s some cute pics I though ya’ll would enjoy!

Well, I’m off to my real job!  Yuck.  Back to work after a wonderful week off.  TFL!

My week off…

Well, my week off is winding down.  It sucks, but I’ll have to go back to work Monday morning. Anyway, I’ve got lots of pics to share, but it’s late and I’m not done editing them all yet. So, here’s a sneak peak at some of the great pics I got of the kids this week.

This was taken today at Meyers Park in Lansing. The kids were doing some sort of rain dance I think. TFL!

New camera!!!

So I got a new camera!  It’s a Fujifilm S700.  It has a 10x optical zoom lense and it’s 7.2 megapixels.  I’m so excited!!!  Anyway, thought I’d share some new photos of Tarrah taken with my new camera before I head off to bed.  Tfl!  Night.

I’m really tired.

It’s been such a long week. Hah!  It’s only tuesday.  No, I’ve been having a rough time of it lately at work.  It’s really draining.  I feel like Dylan looks in this picture, pissed off at the world.  I’ve had this major “bitch” chip on my shoulder for a couple of weeks now.  I guess it can’t all be work related, but is sure doesn’t help.

I have a new boss, so everything is changing, which I can deal with, but I have a co-worker that’s causing problems with everybody.  It makes for a very stressful work environment.  On top of which, I haven’t been performing up to par (not my fault).  I haven’t been aloud to do my own job, too busy helping other people.  Anyway, that’s my work rant.  I’m just really tired and sore.  I’ve been pushing myself really hard the last couple of days.

Also, my favorite website has been down all week.  :(  ScrapHappyKT is going through a hosting change, and the Katie, the site owner, is beside herself.  Poor girl.  Sure do miss sharing all my work with those girls.  They’re so friendly and supportive.

On the up side, I have a short vacation coming up at the end of this week.  I get 6 days off of work!  Yeah!  And this time around, I’m not taking the kids anywhere.  We are going to be lazy!  Well, maybe the park, but no long trips.  So wonderful.  Can’t wait.  Hopefull it will cure what ails me.

Maybe I just need a change of pace.  I don’t know.  I don’t ever go anywhere or do anything.   I work, I take care of my kids, and I scrapbook. I don’t have time for anything else.

Okay, done ranting.  Back to your regularly scheduled scrapping.  :)  (I’ve posted some new digi layouts on my other blog, Sassy Scrapper Designs.  Check em’ out!

New awesome filters…

I discovered a site that offers free plug-in filters for most good art programs. I’m in heaven. It makes altering my photos so much easier. Hours less work. The site is called Optik Verve Labs. You can find out more on my other blog, the Sassy Scrapper. Here’s a taste of a photo I just took and what you can do. Absolutely gorgeous! Every little bit helps when I’m trying to make a name for myself. Check it out!

Laugh Out Loud.

I had kind of a crappy day and needed some cheering up. So I dug through some recent photos to scrap with (of course), and I ran across this less than flattering photo of me, but Tarrah looks precious! So, I thought I’d share.
