Really Bummed.
So Tarrah’s mug didn’t make it through to round 2 in the contest. I really don’t understand it. I don’t mean to have sour grapes but, I thought for sure I’d make it to round 2. I had 4 pages of comments praising my lo. It’s defeats like this that really get me down. I keep submitting to all these contests and design teams and magazines to be published and nothing. I’m not good enough. It’s very discouraging. I am so bummed. I don’t know what they are looking for. I’m starting to think that maybe I’m not good enough and I just won’t ever make anything of my designs.

Caleb and I both agree that this layout is exceptional. I wonder what they are looking for? Just keep on scrapping and don’t give up. This is your thing!

Don’t get discouraged, you just need to empahsize that one thing that sets you above everybody else. Even more important–Patience, persistance and determination are 90% of the battle! Keep it up!
